UPDATE: Read about Sketchpad 3.0 Where Sketchpad 2.0 introduced non-destructive vector and bitmap editing on the web, Sketchpad 2.1 took that package of vector tools and borrowed features from Sketch Mobile, an app that explored colorful environments. Sketchpad 2.1 was great at creating background wallpapers quickly now that most of the tools worked with gradients and were editable in place. This could be especially fun on tools like Mr. Doob's generative brushes and the improved stamp tool. New features included:

Multi-user drawing with NodeJS and Socket.io.
Editable generative brushes: Chrome, Fur, Shader, Sketchy, and Web.
Spacebar-drag while using a brush.
Changing the tool type in the options menu after creating a layer.
Previewing the stamp tool before applying it.
Crayon tool reintroduced from Sketch Mobile.
Shapes: Rectangle, Ellipse, Polygon, Gear, Star, Burst, Radial Burst, and Spiral.
Gradients in the style window, usable with most tools.
A stamp tool Translate feature that could create tapestries with low Flow and a gradient.

Have feature requests, or thoughts about how the interface could improve? I would love to hear.
