About this size

The 377 by 197 dimensions are from an era when social media link previews used much smaller thumbnail standards than modern platforms. Most current social and link-preview services have moved to 1200 by 630 or larger. This template stays for legacy editor compatibility; new social work should use the platform-specific featured templates.

Pro tips

1 A legacy size. For new social work, use the platform-specific templates (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn covers).
2 Open Graph and Twitter Card previews now default to 1200 by 630 px. The 377 by 197 canvas is not what modern link previews expect.
3 Still useful for legacy editor workflows that depend on this specific aspect.
