A vertical-scroll webtoon layout: 6 full-width bands with comfortable spacing. The default mobile-comic format used by Webtoon, Tappytoon, and similar platforms.
About this size
Webtoons read by vertical scroll on a phone. There is no page; the canvas is a single tall column and panels are full-width horizontal bands stacked with whitespace between them. The whitespace IS the pacing: longer gaps read as beats or silence.
This is the dominant format for Korean and Chinese mobile-first comics, and the audience has grown to hundreds of millions. Sketchpad ships standard 800-wide webtoon dimensions; the height adapts to the number of panels and their spacing.

Pro tips
- 1 Whitespace is your pacing tool. Two panels with a small gap read as continuous; two panels with a large gap read as a beat or transition.
- 2 Each panel works in isolation because the reader sees it without horizontal balance from neighbours. Strong individual compositions matter more than page-level balance.
- 3 Standard webtoon width is 800 px. Height is flexible; episodes typically run 3000-6000 px tall.
