Super-ultrawide is mostly used as two displays in one chassis. Window managers on both macOS and Windows snap halves naturally at the centre, which means most users treat the 32:9 frame as a left-and-right pair rather than one unified surface. Designs that ignore that split often feel adrift; designs that work with it feel intentional.

The other thing the format demands is centre discipline. The far edges of a 32:9 frame sit outside comfortable foveal range from a normal seating distance. Anything important needs to live in the middle two thirds.

1 Centre-weight every layout. The edges are visible but the eye treats them as periphery.
