About this size

Large Rectangle is what Medium Rectangle becomes when the publisher has slightly more room. The extra space is not enough to fundamentally change the layout pattern (image at top, headline in middle, CTA at bottom is still the canonical approach) but it is enough to give the CTA more prominence or to let the headline breathe.

Most ad networks fall back to 300 by 250 Medium Rectangle inventory when 336 by 280 is unavailable, which means designs need to work cleanly at the inner Medium Rectangle dimensions too.

Pro tips

  1. 1 Use the extra 36 by 30 px for stronger CTA prominence or breathing room around the headline. The layout pattern stays the same as Medium Rectangle.
  2. 2 Falls back to 300 by 250 in most networks. Design the inner Medium Rectangle area as a standalone composition.
  3. 3 Less inventory than Medium Rectangle. The format trades volume for layout breathing room.
